  1. I got my '93 Camry for $2000, yeah it needed a tune up and a few other things, but it's going to run for another 10 years and it's great on gas.  so worth it.

  2. i am 16 and when i was 15, my parents got me a cavi!

    they are the best!

can i have the best answer?

  3. Well, for a car, I would have to say a Cavalier. Theyre really good on gas, small, and tough. For a truck, I would recommend a Chevy S10. Theyre really good on gas, a light truck, and still have the ability to haul stuff.  Hope I helped, and good luck driving!

  4. toyota tacoma

  5. theres a bunch of honda civis that are cheap

    and they are very reliable

  6. Start out with a Chevrolet Malibu, 2000 or newer, lower mileage.  They get good gas mileage, safe, sharp, lots of power, have four doors for hauling friends and family, durable, cheaper to repair, American made.

  7. A v6 F150 SuperCab would be solid truck and still get as good of gas mileage as many midsize or compacts that are not 4 cylinders.

A 97-03ish should be really easy to find for that price.

That's what my 2003 v6 Sport F150 is worth and I get  anywhere from 18-21 MPGs or so depending on where I drive.  Only a 4 cylinder compact would consistently be better on gas,  Considering how high the prices those are right now, that might not be such a great deal for what little they can do in most cases.

The later v6 in that year range is much less troublesome and easier to work on than the v8 models. I would not go back for a v8.
