Im a college student who will need to make a car last for about 2 years for just summers and holiday breaks. Im thinking about Acruras, Honda accords, impalas or toyota. But i cannot decide what kind of car to buy considering i dont want it to be super expensive but also reliable and good.. Ive been looking for a few weeks now and still no luck with buying due to everything i find is sold in one day or some kind of issue comes up with the car ( crashes, salvages titles rebuit or the sellers come of sketchy etc etc). I have 5000 total to spend for now,so probably around 4 or 45 cash on them..any advice?

  1. your on the right track with the cars you want acura integras are good, honda civic and accords are good as well.  Toyotas are gonna be more pricey because they are the most reliable. I personally look for subarus and mitsubshis as well as nissan.  but I landed up with a buick and i'll tell you why

It had extremely low mileage (12,000) it was two model years old and the lady that owned it drove it to town once a week for grocery's after church. That is a steal and i would pass that on to you just look for a car that is going to give you pretty good gas mileage, low miles and have a mechanic check it out to make sure it hasn't been in a wreck or its gonna need work done.

  2. You'll be hard pressed to find a Honda, Acura, or Toyota for those prices that would be worth buying. Take a look at Fords, particularly from the past few years. They're reliable and sell cheap. Just avoid anything domestic that was produced in the late '90s.

  3. Older Honda Civic.
