  1. You don't really get all that in one package.  The best would only be the closest, which is the Toyota Camry.

  2. First: What's your budget ?

  3. Since you gave no price range I'd assume you mean "period" and I'd go with a Audi A8. They are decent on reliability, good fuel economy for it's car that size, and it has the best interior this side of Bentley. They run about $80K though.

  4. Reliability:

Overall:  Almost anything from Honda, followed by almost anything from Toyota.

    Fuel efficiency:

    Honda Insight

    Volkswagen TDI

Comfort:  Debatable (what defines "comfort?"), but I'd say something like a BMW 5 series or Lincoln Town Car (assuming you are unwilling to give up much reliability)

If you want to keep the cost low, the other items high, and you allow handling to substitute for straight line speed (because that's the only kind of speed it can lay claim to in any way shape or form), and you have my kind of taste, the best vehicle is the 1st generation Scion xB.

    Mid-high 30s fuel economy

Comfortable seats with lots of leg room, head room, *** room, arm room, everything room.

Styling is controversial, but I like it.

    It's a Toyota.

AFAIK they run something like 10-15k used

  5. If you have to take reliability and fuel efficiency into consideration then you probably cannot afford the "best car you can buy". ;)

  6. Infiniti G35

    Consumer Reports Overview

Highs: Acceleration, handling, transmission, braking, front-seat comfort, fit and finish.

    Lows: Snug interior, small trunk.

The G35 is a quick, sporty, and pleasant car. The 3.5-liter V6 is punchy and refined, and the automatic is exceptionally smooth and responsive. Handling is quite agile and predictable. The ride is taut yet comfortable. All-wheel drive is available on the G35X sedan but returned 1 mpg less than the RWD model, which got 19 mpg overall. The interior has been further revised with better materials and improved controls. The cabin, however, is a bit snug, and the trunk is small. The G37 is the coupe version, with a slightly larger and more powerful engine.

  7. Hondas and Toyotas are the cream of the crop in all catergories listed above. If you are looking for luxury with the same reliability then lean towards Acura's. The truth is a car is a car...lol...I'm not sure if you are in the market for a used or new car, but a used car should be considered only as good as the previous owner treated it. If a honda owner didnt keep up with his oil changes and drove heavily in the city, that same Honda wouldn't be as good as a mitsu or mazda that was drove in the suburbs and kept in immaculate condition and received scheduled maintenance.
