Whats the best christmas party you ever went to?

Okay last year me and my friends and their husbands all met up at Pappadeaux's a couple nights b4 Christmas. We had a great time and I want to keep doing a "friends" get together at my house, so give me some ideas please. Tell your most fun Christmas party you went to or threw yourself. Games, food, clothing, etc

Xmas 1983, there was a party going on at the local village hall on christmas day in the evening. My family didn't really celebrate Xmas much, so me and my mates who all happened to be male went out - I was the only female in our group and I had a wonderrful time. Because I wasn't involved with any of them I could flirt the night away!  There weren't any games, just great music to dance to - all the xmas favs, also, no food to write home about, only nibbles.  A great party is not made, it evolves from the interaction of the people, as long as you all know how to have a great time it'll be a success

Naughty-- Nice gift party--

Have "Santa" come with two gift bags.  Everyone gets a Naughty or a Nice gift.  Nice gifts are things like vases, candy, candles, or other simple, generic gifts. Naughty gifts can be anything from your imagination from male contraceptives, massage oil, tobacco products, alcohol, certain magazines, etc. Santa talks to each person and asks if they have been  naughty or nice.  They get the appropriate giftbag.  It's funny to see them open the gift and everyone laughs.  Just buy a bunch of $5 gifts that fit into the categories. You can even wrap them in black and white packages to make them look naughty or nice. You can do it for less than a hundred dollars in a small setting.

If that is too hard on your budget have a snack pot-luck to cut costs on food. Just have everyone bring a "snack" item like veggies and dip, chips, finger foods, etc and share.  You will have extra money for the gifts.

Hmmm... I'd have to say Christmas of '04. All 26 of my friends including me threw this huge bash, it was awesome.
