  1. Vancouver

  2. University of Toronto is Canada’s most important research institution and has gained an international reputation for its research. It enrols more students, employs more faculty, and offers a greater range of courses than any other Canadian university.

  3. Toronto and Vancouver are large and expensive although both have good universities.  If you like large cities Montreal is very cosmopolitan and living costs are much lower than Vancouver and Toronto and yes they do speak English in Montreal as well as French.  Other cities you might like are Halifax, Ottawa and Winnipeg.  They are all pleasant cities to live in  and big enough to have a variety of things to do.  They all have good universities.  Dalhousie and St.Marys in Halifax; Carleton and U of Ottawa in Ottawa and U of Manitoba in Winnipeg.  Montreal has McGill and Concordia.  Coming from Brazil you need to be aware that our winters are COLD - especially Ottawa, Montreal and Winnipeg but you learn to love it and there are lots of winter activities

  4. vancouver or montreal, definitely. both have great universities and atmospheres, but vancouver is pretty expensive to live in! if you don't mind scrounging a bit, it's an amazing city with a lot of stuff to do, especially if you like being outside. hockey is huge in both places and im not sure about montreal but vancouver has a lot of foreign students running around. if you do come to vancouver, prepare yourself for a lot of starbucks and a lot of rain!

  5. Vancouver and Toronto are my favorite. If you want to learn English, I don't recommend living in Quebec because a large chunk of the population speaks French, so you'll have an even harder time communicating. I'm attaching links about the city of Toronto and Vancouver culture and life to my answer.

    Hope I helped
