  1. South Italy is very beautiful. I suggest to you the region of Salento. It's my favorite !

You can stay in Lecce  and explore all the places : Otranto (visit Castello Aragonese and the Cathedral), Gallipoli, Taranto and don't forget to visit the cities of Grecia Salentina (Calimera, Martano, Castrignano de' Greci etc).

And the beaches are awesome , Ionian Sea !

  2. Well, I've been to Sienna and Florence this Spring with my family, I think that Sienna is very nice.

  3. I'm scottish but my family is italian and let me tell you of a wee place that will blow your mind.  Our family lives in a place called Monticatini Terme about30 mins from Pisa airport. Because of the spa's 'healing' properties its dam near impossible to holiday there. But....there is a little town on the way to Monticatini called Luca. This place is one of the most beautiful places to visit i've ever been to in Italy.

From there if you wana go explore :

Pisa is a 15 min train away

Viareggio is about the same (i think) this is a beach resort that is phenomenal. While lying baking on the beach you can see the Tuscan mountain ranges. Amazing.

    Florence is about 45 - 1hr away.

    I'd definitely suggest luca.

  4. Venice is awesome but can get a little pricey
