  1. GOLF

  2. For dance music The Arches is a great club - http://www.thearches.co.uk/clubs.htm. Campus in Sauchiehall Street is a good club for your age group - http://www.clubcampus.co.uk/ The Box on Sauchiehall Street - http://www.box-glasgow.co.uk/ usually have live bands at the weekend as does Firewater (just not far from it) - http://www.firewater-livemusic.co.uk/. If you like rock music then The Classic Grand - http://www.classicgrand.com/ or The Cathouse - http://www.cathouseglasgow.co.uk/ would suit you better. For more pop/chart/r&b music then Karbon - http://www.karbonuk.com/ or Silver - http://www.silver-glasgow.co.uk/. There are so many clubs in Glasgow to choose from, I'm sure you will be spoiled for choice. Hope you find somewhere suitable and have a great time!

  3. it depends on the kind of music and crowd you like.

if studenty crowd/cheesy music/cheap drink - campus (very, very cheesy) or jumping jacks  (this is more of a mixed crowd) on sauchiehall street.  Also walkabout, but its quite pricey and pretty much the same as any other walkabout you've ever been to.

if studenty crowd/mix of music (indie/cheesy/dance/chart/r&b)/cheap drink then the garage on sauchiehall street on a thurs/fri/sat night because all of the levels will be open. This is a pretty good place to start if its your first night out in glasgow.  It's got a bit of everything, pretty much anything goes, never ususally any trouble. Plus you have the added bonus of having a taxi rank just outside the door that is manned by people to put you in a taxi home and stop people skipping you in the queue!!

if you're into more dancey kind of music you've got Karbon and silver at the other side of town think one is on hope street

if you're into a bit of indie type stuff then ABC on sauchiehall street, opened on thurs - sat

there's also the beat club on sauchiehall st, similar to ABC but not quite as "cool" better if you don't like being surrounded by posers

if you're into rock etc then the cathouse on union street

There are more, I just can't think of any!!  Althoug I would say to avoid Studio and Moon at the bottom end of sauchiehall street, they can get a bit scary!!  I should've said that the other places I mentioned above on sauchiehall street are at the Charing Cross end, this is a lot less scary!  Honestly!

It's all dependent on many things!!  There's also loads of pubs open until 3am, so if you don't get into a club pick a good pub and stay there!

    Hope this is useful!
