The first answer is right, colon cleanses are completely pointless.  They are all based on the principle that toxins build up in the body, which is false.  What toxins there are in the body are removed by the liver anyway, not the colon.

Nothing. Colonics are unnecessary. Eat plenty of fiber, exercise daily, and drink sufficient water. Your colon will clean itself out just fine with those 3 things.

a great intestinal cleaner is betonite clay which is reputed to cleanse the intestines and remove parasites and also heavy metals which accumulate in the body.  It is said that over 80% of the population is infected by some sort of parasite and my friend did pass a large worm when she took it so it does work.  Children can bathe in it and it will still work.

Not everyone needs such drastic treatment.  Why don't you try to use a drink to balance your ph?  There are also supplements and multivitamins.

I think that if you can get the proper absorption of the correct nutrients that it will work naturally together like you want it to.  I never liked to shock my system growing up and my health is just right now.
