  1. None of them are bad if you pay your bills in full every month. I use pretty much all companies and I pay full every month and I never had any trouble from any of them In fact, they have so much confidence in me that sometimes I take advantage of them to get more benefits. If you respect them then they'll respect you back!

As far as benefits are concerned, I like Amex the best. See some good rewarding cards at the following site and you'll see what I mean by different typed of rewards!

  2. here are some search results.Good Luck.

  3. Hard to say, the one that gives you the lowest interest rate, no fees, highest credit limit and the best rewards.

For me that has been Capital One, Discover and Washington Mutual.

  4. A lot of people think credit card companies are the bad guy.

If more people would pay their debts and stick to the contract it wouldn't be so bad, particularly the interest rates.

Depending on what you need (student card, low rate, cash back, travel miles, et...) Visa and Mastercard have a wide selection of card features. The only company I 've heard negative things about is American Express because it has greater restrictions.

What you need to do is apply for a credit card within your range. If you're an unemployed student don't try and apply for a platinum card with $50,000 limit because you won't get it. You need to start with a student card or a secured card (try Capital One). Do NOT max out your card. Make it a point of duty not to charge more than 25% of your available limit. Always pay on time. Always pay in full. Whatever you don't pay in full will attract interest.
