  1. you should look at the 0% APR if you want to pay for something now and pay for it in a few months without having interest added to it.

you should also look at the annual fee to see if the credit cards charge anything.

you should also look at the interest rate to see if it is below 9%

here are two great credit cards

    Blue from American Express®

0% APR for up to 15 Months

    As low as 8.99% APR

    no annual fee

full detailed explanation of the credit card can be seen here...

    Citi® Platinum Select® MasterCard®

0% APR for up to 12 Months

    As low as 8.49% APR

    no annual fee

  2. It is always nice to have a card that offers rewards, but the primary thing you want to look at is the APR.  The Annual Percentage Rate is how much they charge you each month based on your credit card's balance.  Obviously, then, the lower the better.

Personally, I'm very satisfied with my Bank of America Elite Rewards, I think that's the official name.  It has a decent APR, and I get rewards.  If it is your first credit card, I would avoid those from CitiBank as the APR tends to be VERY high.

  3. You have to look at the requirements first. Some cards require excellent credit and some require no credit history. Depending on your credit, next thing you look at are the benefits, annual fees, interest rate(if you are not going to pay in full every month). See the site below that has 100s of cards that you can research and apply online and get instant approvals.

  4. its better to not get a credit card and pay cash-

my parents have visa- i think that's a good credit card-

    also master card-

i try to pay everything with cash if i can-

the other advice given to you is good-

  5. There is no good credit card. You need to make sure there is no fees for use and no annal fees. Look at the APR that you do not get a high one or interest will eat you alive.
