Whats the best cruise to go on that leaves from san diego or LA?

Carnival cruises are pretty inexpensive and go from the port of LA to Mexico and some stop at Catalina.  They start from around $300 per person, depending on when you cruise.  That's usually for 3-4 nights.  Some cruises also go up north to the Canada/Alaska area, but they are way more expensive.  Royal Carribean has a lot of cruises from here as well.  I'd say Mexico (usually Ensenada) is your best bet.  Have fun! :o)

the Hawaiian Island on Holland America that left from San Diego. The ship was the Zaandam.

I'd say leaving from San Diego down the Mexican coast... i went on a celebrity cruise that was well priced and pretty good service.....
