There are many great decks out there it really matters on your preference because you can have a good spellcaster deck or toon deck or dragon deck etc. so maybe start with a structure deck and start getting booster packs and you'll get better and better

I have a deck based around Umi that kicks butt. If you choose to go with dragons, make sure you have a King Dragon.  It all depends on if you can make smart choices.

Oh yea, by the way... STOP FAILING AT LIFE AND GO GET LAID!!!!!!

On a technical standard the best decks out there are Gladiator Beast and Dark Armed Dragon deck but as the guy before me posted a deck built with own skill and own ideas for combos is one of the most unbeatable.

Personally i run a RFP deck that most people ask why i have about half the cards in there idc it wins dules (Main point behind that is dont care what others say whatever gets your to win is what counts)

The best deck out there right now is Gladiator Beasts.  I mean this weekend alone should prove to you how great they are.  In the Shonen Jump Tournament in Indianapolis I think 9 out of the Top 16 players all had Gladiator Beasts and 2 of them went to the finals.  The Shonen Jump Tournament before this saw the Final 4 competitors all rocking Gladiators.  The tournament before that saw more Gladiators win the championship.  So it's safe to say that Gladiators are the way to go right now and aren't going to be stopped by much unless the new banned list next month has something to say about it.  I definitely smell a banning of Test Tiger and/or Gladiator Beast Bestiari or, at the very least, limiting both to 1 per deck.  Maybe even Elemental Hero Prisma will be banned or limited or E-Hero Stratos could be banned too if Prisma isn't.

However, I'd hold off on making Gladiator Beast decks anyway until you see what's on the new banned list.

Anyway, other great decks would include Dark Armed Dragon, Lightsworn, or a Prime Material Dragon/Vanity's Fiend/Monarch deck.

their r so many good decks out their today, and i cant tell u the best one because even if it is proven u have the BEST cards in the world yu gi oh is 50% ur cards and 50% LUCK. anyway the most popular decks out their today r lightsworn, d heros, monarchs(which i run), perfect circle decks etc.. but i think the best deck out there the ones that people think of there selves and not just copy of the internet.if u come up with ur own moves and combos that U MAKE then no one will no wat to do because they haven't seen them before!!!! the best decks r the one no one expects.
