  1. Unfortunately those coupons will expire in 90 days. You should have waited until you needed one. By then they'll probably have them that also pick up low power analog stations. None of the converter boxes on the market now do that.

  2. The only 2 brands that I will recommend are

    Topfield

    and

    Strong

  3. Sadly, there really aren't any decent models out there that I'm aware of yet.  It seems like companies are trying so hard to build something that will fit that measly $40 budget the government allotted everyone, that everything available so far is pretty much c**p.  Definitely avoid Magnavox, though.  Their tuners have been having some major reliability issues, although they're not alone.  I've personally tried a Philco model # TB100HH9, and it does pick up decently, (there are still noticeable differences between this and a decent digital TV, say Sony or Pioneer), but the thing is built like I won it in a gumball machine, it's hard to use (no aspect or zoom button on the remote, so you're constantly going through the setup menu as you surf channels), and the ONLY controls are on a dinky little remote that I can't see lasting more than a month.
