I don't know about cheep but this is probably the best fencing to use to keep your horse in and the wild animals out.

What kind of wild animals are you talking about? Bears, deer, rabbits...

Bears can go through just about any kind of field fence. Deer can jump over it. Rabbits can go through or under it as well as most other animals will find a way around it being there. My worry is more with domestic dogs.

it depends on what type of wild animals you want to keep out,they range from everything from ground squirrels to elephants and i wont even say what a rhino can do to a fence but it also depends on how many acres,wooded or plains.anytime you want to fence out small animals you will have to double the price per foot of the fencing for something like 5' no climb fencing  and the posts have to be set at 10' instead of 20' like for barb wire.
