i'm thinking of getting a bike, i personally want a folding bike

any recommendations?

Moulton from England are the best.  Folding bikes work great if you know how to use the gearing properly.  Always check out the weight issue as cheap ones weigh more than full size.  The purpose of having it fold is so you can put it in a smaller car, or travel with it one public transportation.  Some people ride ém to work and then fold it to put securely in a closet.  That's why you want it to be light!  Try www.alexmoulton.co.uk  If you are new at this cycling game, you may want to consider something used, at first.  You can always upgrade later.  Don't forget to get a helmet too.
