Whats the best food to feed red belly piranha's?

I have three red belly piranha's and I know a balanced diet is always best. But as far as meat goes, what's best to feed them on a regular basis. I already know goldfish is a bad idea. What about trout?

whatever they have onsale is what i feed mine, currently they had huge packs of frozen shrimp for sale and i bought that to feed them, trout sounds good, but when it comes down to it fish is fish,  just get the cheap stuff while its on sale and then unfreeze it when you feed them, as long as you vary the diet every so often theyll be nice and healthy

Mostly live foods as supplements[because they are naturally omnivores], but you can feed them either traditional fish flakes or pellets as their main feed.

They are Omnivore . feeding them can become fairly expensive because they prefer live foods. Try to give them flakes and pellet food for their primary nutritional needs and supplement with live foods.
