Whats the best free anitvirus and spyware program ?

thanks ppl, looks like im gonna giva AVG a try ......... any more suggestions on spyware or adware programs ?

free versions doesn't serve you better,and also there is no such word as best in anti virus programs.every av recognizes only the viruses to there limit.

i prefer AVG 8.0,which has both anti virus as well as anti spy ware and other benefits. if you want full version download it from www.torrentz.com.

don't download anything which is .rar format from this website.as they usually contain viruses.

avg is a great free anti virus program, and I would use ad-aware for spyware and adware.  With these two you should be safe.  Also, make sure to update both programs at least weekly to make sure they are up to date with new viruses and spyware.
