What system you want all depends on what you want out of it. If you want amazing graphics then go for the PS3, but in my opinion, the PS3's game library is somewhat lacking, and the online services, though free are not as good as the 360's. If you want slightly worse graphics, just slightly, but a great games library, and arguably the best online community, then go for the 360. If you want to simply have fun, go for the Wii, it has great party games, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for example and really fun controls, that almost anyone can use.
