If it's a windshield get it replaced, but there are resin kits that can be used.  The cost of a new windshield is low so just replace it.  Call around town for the best price.

Last time I bought glue for glass, I went to a specialized stained glass hobby store. They recommended (Industrial Strength) E6000. It dries clear, and is for indoor/outdoor use. Many of the posters to the forum ( link above) liked Lexel.
