  1. Systems are  personal preference.

    The only way of indicating a horse is going to go Good on the day is to check the form of the horse

    I tend to read the the form. this will tell you what the horse likes to go on

    Ground (good, soft,firm,good to soft,etc,etc.

    Trip  (The distance the horse likes to run over.

    Jockey (we all have our prefered jockey.

    Weight ( the weight the horse will be carrying

    H`caps are a bit of a lottery as in theory all the horses are weighted to finish past the post at the same time (obviously this doesnt happen, basically saying that any horse has the chance to win the race.

    Remember one thing, you never see a skint bookie.......

    Bet sensible.

  6. When writing out your bet, look for races where a trainer has more than one runner.

    And write "Trainer's Name Horse" on the betting slip.  (E.G. "M. Stoute's Horse"

    Should you win, you will be given the lowest odds of the horses concerned.
