Whats the best hotel in vegas?

my friend told me its mandalay bay, ive seen pictures and id have to agree with him.

They all vary.  The most popular (and expensive) would be Bellagio or Wynn.  They are the cream of the crop, you know.  Mandalay Bay is gorgeous, but more for the middle class financially.  They run between $100 and $200 per night and have one of the best pools in Vegas.  I would love to stay there.

Mandalay Bay is great but there is also MGM, Bellagio e.g. which are also very good IMO. Check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com if you want to have a hotel promotion code for one of these hotels.

The best hotel is very subjective.  Depends on so many things.  Mandalay Bay is a nice place.

I agree with a lot aubry said, except she puts Mandalay Bay far ahead of what I would rate it.  Most of the Hotels on the strip are very good.  you can stay at MGM or Treasure Island very reasonably if you shop around and are flexible on your dates.  The best Hotels in Vegas, on the Strip, probably are 4 Seasons, Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian/Palazzo.  A mid range hotel on the strip is very good.  Lots of people like Excalibur and Circus Circus but not me.  I suggest you shop around on line and find a really good deal on a mid range room at MGM, NY-NY, Paris, or even Bill's Gamblin' Hall which has just refurbished rooms.  But don't look for saving money entirely because if you get a room with a wonderful view and plenty of elbow room (Vegas has amazing suites) you will be much better charged and enjoy your vacation more.  Both Mandalay Bay and MGM (as well as others) have an upscale version of their properties.  Mandalay bay has THEhotel at Mandalay Bay and MGM has it's Signature Suites.  The biggest advantage to MGM is it's access to the Monorail and it's size.
