  1. Since 1997 Brazil take the volleyball and they use olympikus and penalty.

    www.penalty.com

  2. Im not really sure... but im on a volleyball team and i use the leather volleyball because they are stronger and last longer!

  3. Go Lakers

  4. leather volleyballs are easier to serve, but hurt more to receive.

personally, i like the volleyball that hurts the least when it hits me in the face when i dive for it.

    haha :]

  5. the best i can think of is a Tachikara gold :D i got one for my birthday :P i'll look up some places you can get them, their quality volleyball, a bit pricy, but worth it

well i hope i could help

  6. Go to a store that sells things only for sports like scheels if you have one nearby or anything like that, generally the most expensive would be the best. Look for labels on the volleyball box that say most durable or something like that. :)

  7. Try going to any sports supply store and get either a molton, mizuno. or a spalding, because those are three reputable brands and are used commonly. I'm not sure about the differences though.

  8. I would highly recommend Tachikara, but your really want to get one for her age group (and based on indoor or outdoor). Leather ball is much better and more consistent during the long run than composite volleyball, but is more for indoor games.

Tachikara makes one (Tachikara SV5W Gold Competition Premium Leather Volleyball) for high school also for college competition. Make sure you get the "GOLD" version, either white or colored.

Approved by the NFHS® (National Federation of State High School Associations)

Intended for play for all ages

The Tachikara® SV-5W Gold indoor volleyball is a premium leather ball intended for the highest levels of competition.

Molten is also for indoor, but had some up and downs in recent years. Its Pro Touch is for men/boys of high school or NCAA.

"A premium Japanese leather cover and pattern nylon wound carcass make the Molten® Pro Touch V58L NFHS leather indoor volleyball the international ball of choice. It's the official ball of the Men's Open and Boy's Junior National Championships. USAV approved".

    NCAA ball... http://www.amazon.com/Molten-Touch-Japan...

... and Super Touch for Women and girls with focus on college play (NCAA).

Wilson makes AVP beach volleyballs, with more focus on outdoor competition.

So is Mikasa for beach AVP competitions, who makes the "FIVB Official Olympic Beach Volleyball".

With all those said, I would definitely get a leather ball for **my girlfriend**. This is when you cannot "go cheap" :)
