I'd have to vote for THE CONCORDE

During it's first flight a chase plane was flying below it.  The crew looked up at it and were in awe of the sheer beauty of the aircraft in flight.  They sent this first message:

"You cannot possible understand how beautiful you are"

The Blackbird is also a beauty.  I had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with one.  My hands were all over that  beauty like I was in a Cambodian whorehouse.

I would say the spitfire. Among jets I would say the F-14 tops my list.

I agree, the sr-71 blackbird to me looks more beautiful than anyother aircraft....I'd still rather fly the f-22 because of its performance and combat capability =P

Depends. my most favorite oldie is the british Spitfire from World War 2, As far as the "newer" stuff my vote goes to Concorde

Way too many to choose from.

The Spitfire looks pretty, flies pretty, and has a nice sound to it when it flies past.

The P-51 is a close second, but the Spit, with that elliptical wing and narrow fuselage has a much more elegant look to it.

The Mirage III is pretty too.

i either say the b2 stealth bomber or the new f22 raptor. who couldn't love the clean sleek lines on the raptor. it just screams "air superiority" to me. every detail is perfect. literally.
