I usually buy clinique but have been wanting to try something new.

I bought the mac POWDER and I was breaking out, don't know if it was because of the powder but now I am scared to try the mac foundation unless any of you have some advice on that?

Or any other foundation that I could try.

Thanks so much. :)

  1. smashbox is really nice.

  2. I would go to Sephora, they have some really nice liquid foundations that work amazing.

  3. depends on your skin. i dont think your going to get better than clinique. apparently bobbi brown and laura mercier are great too.

  4. Sorry to hear the MAC powder broke you out. That happened to one of my friends and she loves MAC. She just can't wear some of there powders. She can wear the foundations fine. Try the MAC Satin Finish. It has a light coverage without feeling heavy on the skin or appearing caked on. Also talk to a MAC associate about the break outs and ask them what may be causing it and if they have the same ingredients in the powders and foundations.

Alot of people that are wearing foundation don't really need to be wearing it. So ask yourself if you really need it or not. People who wear it and don't really need it are irritating the skin and clogging pores. You may have beautiful skin and not even need foundation.

Now for the best foundation would be   Guerlain 'Fleur de Teint' Ultra Matte Foundation. It's voted number one by most makeup artists. This stuff is a little pricey. $48.00 a bottle. But you said you wanted the best. Best drugstore brand would be Cover Girl TruBlend. Hope this helps. Let me know how it works out.

  5. This stuff is all natural and covers me up great:

  7. I like aularale.com/7002 - and I use their whole line starting w/skin care.  I've learned that the skin must be kept clean (cleanser, toner or freshener) and protected (moisturizer0 at all times.  I'm oily so I use the masque 2-3 times weekly for a deep cleansing.  I also use the vitamin c serum to keep away the zits.  It's a good product.  I have no complaints.
