  2. Actually I stayed in the Thistle hotel in Newcastle a couple of weeks ago and had a Caeser chicken wrap which had coleslaw in with a bowl of realy crispy chunky chips.  I had been working all day without a break and was really hungry and it tasted amazing!!!!!

  3. Cod, chips, bread and butter with a pot of tea at Harry Ramsdens in Blackpool, I've eaten in posh restaurants, greasy spoons, fast food even at a TV station canteen, a multi-story car park (tables set up on the actual driveway) but those fish and chips were fantastic

    but nothing beats good old egg and chips

    Although I have had the pleasure of "posh" restaurants, the best grub in a cafe was a full English breakfast.

    Fried eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, black pudding, chips, and a fried slice done in duck fat.

    No, I am actually underweight according to my GP !

    Too much nonesense talked about "healthy diets".

  10. It was a fry up i had a t the hotel i stayed at the day after my wedding.

    I normally love really greasy fry ups, from the sort of place where they scrape the walls for more grease, But this hotel was very posh, cost us £450 for the night, so didn't think I'd think much of the fry up come breakfast. But man it was amazing, the meat was sooooo good it just melted in my mouth, But i still cant really say why it was sooo amazing.

  12. My best meal would have to be the hot and cold shellfish platter at Loch Fyne, my favourite part of it would have to be the hot clams in garlic provoncale sauce! J'adore!
