  1. Sandisk is an excellent brand, however the (blue coloured) card you are looking at is a very slow and standard speed card (Class 2), which is more suitable for a mobile phone, and not a digital camera.

You need to buy a faster card (Class 4 or 6) for a digital camera if you want speedy camera performance, and especially when shooting movies. Using a slow card while recording a movie, will make the camera struggle.

That's why I recommend either the Sandisk Ultra II (Class 4) or Extreme III (Class 6) SDHC card instead. Most reviewers use and recommend the Extreme III in their camera review tests, but the Ultra II should be perfectly ok.

Each 1GB will allow up to 278 high quality images (Large/Superfine). The camera's default is most likely, Large/Fine, so you will need to change it in the Menu if you want to shoot in the best quality offered by your camera.

Format the card before you use it, and also everytime you need to delete all images in one go. Check your user manual on formatting if you don't know how to do it...
