Whats the best mp3 for video and music?

Question

I've been looking on ebay and amazon for a good mp3 player I want to get at least 30 gig but I'm not sure if a Zune is better or a Ipod video... The main thing im worried about is not being able to transfer downloaded songs i get from bearshare or kazaa to a ipod or zune i'm not sure how that all works could somone explain which is the best and if you can transfer videos and music that isn't bought from their stores?

I don't know too much about  zune, but I have an iPod video and you can deffiantely transfer downloaded songs and videos from kazza and stuff all you have to do is hit import on iTunes and choose which songs and/or videos you would like to put on you iPod.

I have had good luck with the Sandisk Sansa models. Don't know how big they get , but I have an 8 gig which works great.

You don't want to ask if the Zune is better than the ipod. So many people will bad mouth the Zune only because they never use one.

If your really looking for a really great MP4 player you should look around and find one in you price range. If you want my opinion get the 80GB Zune. I use to love my ipods. See how I said "ipodS". They really don't last to long and I was all ways sending them to Apple to get fixed. I have never had a problem with my Zune and have had it for over a year. Not only is the Zune software better than that c**p apple makes you use but the Zune it's self is so much better. The screen is bigger and made of glass, it has built in FM radio, wireless sync to your PC or other Zunes. All in all the Zune wins.

the new creative zen. Forget the ipod. Ipod you pay out the butt for a name. The zen comes from 2gb to 32gb. PLUS you can add a SD card for more memory. Ipod you can only use thier software and only thier media formats. Creative you can use almost any format. Also apple doesnt allow you to use downloaded content. As far as video, 16 million colors... compared to the what 256k color of the ipod... Also ipod can only sync with one computer at a time. So if you take your ipod to your friend and he has a song you like you cant get it. with the zen you can plug it into any computer and put music on or off it.

Not to mention apple stole many ideas from creative in the first place when it came to making mp3 players... But that is all in the past. Creative is a company that is known for making sound equipment, apple makes computers. Which one is the logical choice for sound quality?

in the end it is what you are comfortable getting. but i have the zen and paid 100$ for a 4gb player and 8gb sd card. I have better video, sound, and format than the ipods and it cost a whole lot less...

get the ipod. It wont care what files you put into it, and depending what program you use to connect to the pc you'll even be able to get stuff out of your ipod top your pc.
