  1. The best nursery rhyme that I did as a kid was London Bridge Is Falling Down. My favorite one I do with children now is There Was An Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly. That one is so much fun to say!

  10. I'm not sure if it's a traditional nursery rhyme, but one we loved singing in kindy was 'She'll be coming round the mountain'! I think we loved 'She'll be wearing pink pyjamas when she comes  - WOO woo!'

    That kind of stuff is hilarious to a kindergartner! And oh yeah - B-I-N-G-O. And trying to do the B-I- CLAP -G-O! We thought we were so cool!

    I'm going to go teach Bingo to my niece!

  13. It was a rhyme my Mom always used to sing to me.....it goes a little something like this - Sleep baby sleep my love, sleep baby sleep, sleep baby sleep my love, Sleep Gloriana sleep.......oh, I wish I was still baby :(

  16. twinkle twinkle little star, is the easiest. i sing this to my granddaughter at nap time.

    have you ever heard "old mr. fox, lost his socks?

    here's how it goes: 'Old Mr. Fox, lost his socks, down in the bottom of the chocolate box, count with me- 1-2-3, tell me now what color do you see?'

    then there's a picture of a different colored sock on each page. i would hear our children singing this phrase, as they played, so i guess it sticks in your head, and it rhymes.
