i prefer hammers and hatchets. they're light enough , they are readily available and they make a h**l of a mess.

Something light enough but solid enough to be able to move it easily but cause damage. Something like a solid bookend. A bat, frying pan, etc, although you'll probably want it to have an edge of some sort to cause damage more quickly.

I'm saying all of this hypothetically. So please don't hurt anyone! :)

5) Frying pan.  "How do you like your brain?  Scrambled!?!"

9) Sock full of quarters.  "Time to CHANGE your mind!"

It doesn't matter..Anytime you have to go to violence (unless its self defense) they already have won the fight and defeated you..You need to analyze your conflict with that person and seek ways to confront them in language..If that's not possible,,you need to either limit or completely estrange yourself from them.. If they are just an annoying person,,avoid them whenever possible..The only way anyone can defeat you ,,is if you let them..Your intellect is your secret weapon which is stronger and more mighty than your strength or any weapon.. By planning and plotting a non violent solution,,you not only show your superiority,,but you realize a conclusion that is totally permanent and ends the dispute..It doesn't sound right I know,,but with practice,,and resolve,,you can most of the time,,settle your differences without violence.. And of course with violence,,there is always the legal consequences.. Think about it !!                SOLOMON

Well it depends. If the person knows you're coming, you'd probably want a baseball bat because it's light and you can swing it fast.

If you were say, sneaking up behind them, go with a sledgehammer.
