Whats the best outfit to wear while river rafting?

i can carry changable clothes, in a back bag but should i wear shorts and sweater or no sweater....then change into it....

I JUST NEED A SOLID PLAN!

First: sun protection! Wear a snug fitting cap. Wear a long sleeve shirt and long trousers. Material should shed water. Wear canvas shoes that can be tied on. You need to wear clothing that can protect you if the raft upsets. Weather changes, carry dry clothes in a watertight bag.

Depending on where you are will determine what to wear. If it's really cold water and air I wear a full wetsuit. If it is warm air and cold water I wear a spring suit(wetsuit with short arms and legs). If the air and water are both warm, t-shirt, shorts and booties(wetsuit shoes). Having proper footwear is a good idea in case you end up in the drink cause your feet can get wedged between rocks or stomped on by other riders during rapids. You also have to take in the class of rapids into consideration. The higher the class the more wet your gonna get. Have fun.

It depends. Do you think you'll end up falling out of the raft, or just wanting to go swimming? If the rapids are a higher class, you could end up falling out, or just getting splashed. If you'll just be floating, no real rapids, I'd wear shorts and a sweater or bring a sweater. Because if you're just floating, remember that it's always cooler on the water. If you're planning on swimming and the water is somewhat cold, I'd wear a shortie wetsuit(short arms and legs). If the air will be colder, and you want to swim, you could wear a long wetsuit.

That didn't make a ton of sense, but hopefully you'll be able to get something out of it. Just remember to wear a lifejacket, and possibly some river shoes!

i would wear shorts and a t-shirt  but put the sweater in the backpack just in case.. i'd wear sneakers but they will get wet. so..bring flip flops.

            if i were you i'd wear a life vest just in case :]
