  1. Try Fybogel, its all natural, I have to use it occasionally for my IBS.

  2. haha, honestly, id just say try some exlax, it works

  3. The least addictive/side-effecting remedies are all of the "up the butt" variety.  Any habitually constipated person should have e***a equipment in the house (the proper nozzle-and-bulb variety) for severe cases.  For short term attacks of incomplete/difficult evacuation glycerine suppositories will do the job (or rather make you do a job!).

  4. colace is good but whatever you buy make sure it is a stool softener, not a laxative.  your body can become dependent on those even after just one use.

  5. It depends what's causing your constipation, you seem to be eating the right kind of food and drinking enough water so maybe it's due to medication or painkillers. If that's the case, as su-france says you would be best tackling the problem from the "bottom end". Glycerin suppositories are very cheap and can be bought over the counter at any pharmacy, but they sometimes take hours to work. Micro-enemas (Microlax) work in a few minutes and are very simple to self-administer.

  6. Lactolose (excuse spelling)

  7. Normacol.

  8. Senocot tablets are very good.  Bought from your local chemist or even your supermarket stocks them.

    :)

  9. I believe it's called Castor oil (over the counter.)

  10. Drink pure orange.
