  1. I was once given ibroprophen(sp?) & paracetomol by my dentist and was told to take one of each. This helped.

  2. Oil of cloves rubbed on your gum around the tooth that is causing pain.

  3. Well that's bad, your dentist should know what's happening to your teeth. It's not normal after all the pain killer you treat to your teeth. I can sense there's something wrong with your teeth it's not just being sensitive about it but there's more..hope you'll ask another opinion to another dentist. Well I'm not saying you're dentist is not good but it's better to have another opinion than being sorry right? so, yeah do what exactly your dentist is advising you.

  4. Dab a drop of whiskey on a little ball of cotton wool and dab it on the affected tooth. It works.

  5. To relieve your toothache, you can always try an over the counter anti-inflammatory or painkiller such as ibuprofen. It reduces swelling to the area and offers some pain relief so you may be able to sleep till the morning, when you can see a dentist.

Another possibility would be a ice pack. Applied to the painful area you can reduce swelling and pain to give you a few more moments of time, before seeking dental attention. Try chewing gentle on a small onion.

Some of the natural components to onions will help kill the bacteria in your mouth that could be causing your toothache and provide you with relief from the pain. Other prospective solutions could be Oragel or another topical area numbing product that you can purchase at your local drug store

  6. if wisdom tooth hurts, it should be removed, pain killers wont work for long time, be decisive and take it out, its simple, or may develop to more annoying complications

  7. try this isntead its called orajel get it from the chemist it completely numbs you mouth within seconds

  8. orajel is really good

  9. smoking weed

  10. Advil but take it with food as most pain killers cause ulcers. The medicine needs to be absorbed by the food you eat and not by the lining in your stomach. But Advil works wonders for toothaches.

  11. Just ask the pharmacist which are the strongest but you will need to go to the dentist in time.

  12. If the pain killers don't work get Victory V Lozenges, they numb the mouth and ease the pain.

  13. There is a gel that gives instant relief of toothache by numbing your mouth. It's called Dentogen clove oil gel.

  14. Ibuprofen is great for it, try using regular paracetomol along with the ibuprofen.
