Whats the best picture settings for my Samsung 40" tv?

I want to get the best picture quality but there are so many picture settings the model no is : LE40M87BDX

If you have a  DVD player, select a movie which was released after 2001 and shot with THX technology (it will tell you on the box). In the extras menu on those DVD's there is a picture set-up series of tests called the THX Optimzer, it takes you through each step and tells you what it should look like. A few DVD's with this on are:

Star Wars, The Phantom Menace, on the language menu, the icon is on the bottom right of the screen, and,

Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl, under set-up, icon in middle of screen.

You are able to set sound and vision with the system, but you are recommended using special 3D-type glasses for one process, which you can obtain free by contacting them
