  1. There are 2 that I know of.  The best one I think, is in Greenwich and I have attached a link for you.  But there is another great one if you are north of the river and that is Clarke's in Exmouth market near the Angel. This one is far less touristy and set in a loving street which has great food markets on a Friday and Saturday.

Both of them have tons of charm and are the real thing.  I'd never had pie and mash  before moving to London but I feel in love with these places.  Great people watching too.

  2. There is only one-Kellys,Roman Rd Stepney

  3. Robins Pie And Mash, East Ham, in the business since 1890!!

See attached link for directions - http://www.londoneats.com/search/complet...

  4. mashy in waterloo

  5. im sure theres one in Chiswick.

  6. Goddards in Greenwich is very nice, and also Maureen's in Chrisp Street, E14...

  7. it was goddards in greenwich but it sells its last pie tommorow its been there since 1890 but the brothers have sold out to a burger chain so its down to manzies deptford

  8. sheppard bush (west london) by the market. Its the best

  9. lou farrows in bermondsey is good or any manzes pie mash shop

  10. I haven't been to London in years but I used to go to a Pie and Mash shop in East Ham High Street, it was very good.

  11. its on the goldhawk road, cant remember the name but its in shepards bush, family run buisness

  12. the best pie and mash shop is armits westmorland road walworth se17.ti hold about 70-80 people. and it has about 15 people working rhere.and its always busy

  13. Goddard's, but not the one in Greenwich high street.  The better one is in Deptford High Street.  They only do meat pie (don't even ask about any other kind, they get all evil eyed) and don;t expect anything other than gravy or liquor on your mash.  Also, don;t expect and deserts.  You can have tea or soft drinks.... that's it.  Simple, to the point, no messing about, and the pies are amazing.  None of that sour pastry that you get in Goddard's in Greenwich (they always make too much and use it the next day, so it goes stale).

  14. Definitely Walthamstow Market E17, Proper old fashioned shop, fantastic tiling and furniture, self service, tea or soft drinks only, still selling eels and mash (not live ones outside the shop tho' like when I was a kid!)   Everything pie and mash should be.

  15. Harrington's at Selkirk Road, Tooting. Then go to The Selkirk Pub,

now called The Frog and Firkin or something, for a real good Saturday all-day session
