I live in Florida so I am partial to Florida. It has to be a quiet beach area though. Not the dang tourist traps like disney

Mexico!  With the decline of the dollar you get more bang for your buck.  There is actually alot to see historically (if one enjoys history).  The beaches are beautiful and the people are friendly.  I've been all over Mexico and never tire of going.

However...if money is no object, I think Norway is a very beautiful and cultural place to visit.  It is such a clean country and eco friendly.  If you love the ocean and mountains, then this is the place because you are close to  both at all times.

The mountain, beach, dessert, downtown Portland, whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, surfing. you name it, OREGON has it!
