Whats the best place to live in Down town Toronto ?

Give your opinion on whats the best place in down town Toronto to live. I prefer a green place with a very good gym .

depends on what you can afford

and what you require out of a gym

generally speaking though

I think Toronto is a very poor place to live

For example

look at the cities mayor and its council

the quality of living in Toronto deteriorates from year to year

I would consider another place to live

IMHO I would love to live in yorkville. Its such a nice area of town and it is only going to get nicer. I know its midtown but close enough.

I am a former chef and have lived in Toronto for over 10 years since retiring from the trade and like the one person said alot depends on your budget, negativre comments aside from someone who has never lived here (Greener), while Yorkville is nice it is pricey, the Annex in the Spadina Rd over to Dufferin St from Bloor up to Davenport Rd is a nice area, as for gym's, some places have in house workout centers.

Even the Bedford Rd/St George area which not technically Yorkville but just west of it, Forest Hill or the area of St Clair east of east Yonge is nice, all the areas I have described are techinically downtown area in the the green belt of the city, near parks, services, shops and restuarants and are steps from the subway in all directions.
