Whats the best place to start an acting career???

I live in Florida and i want to find a acting school that would benefit me in many ways! the schools doesn't have to only be in Florida! it can also be in other state in the US.

i recommend IMTA

they do a week in CA and another week in NY

you perform infront of over 500 casting directors and talent agents

New York is best for theatre.  L.A. for acting.

I would advise going to a convention first and actually talking to some of the actors there.  Dragoncon is coming up in Atlanta, Ga over labor day weekend and there will be at least 50 actors there.
