Whats the best place to surf in Texas thats close to SA?

I live in San Antonio. I like to surf. when i go to New york, i go surfing with my cousin and i enjoy it

i would love to do it down here to but

the closest beach is 2 1/2 hours away and the gas prices are CRAZY!!!

Well you could go up to New Branfuels, sorry if I misspelled it, the waterpark Schittlerbahn, there is also Corpus and Galveston.

Sorry but south padre is about as close as u can get antd get a decent wave. the gulf is just doesn't produce much surf , nless storms are in the gulf. try water rafting arund austin and sa,, pray for surf
