  1. THE PUB!!!!!!

  2. the mournes , the burren, donegal cork galway all breathtaking scenery.  but for a town visit even for a day visit belfast.  its going to be dead soon, over run by the liberal left wing peacenicks.  you may see the real belfast before its too late.

  3. Dublin is a must. But as in many countries, if you really want to try the real "flavour" of a country, you should visit the smaller cities. You can try Killarney (beautiful!!!!!), Limerick, and if you have enough time, simply travel all through the southern part of Ireland. You'll love it all!

  4. the nearest pub! Enjoy!

  5. i know im from Galway so im bias but it really is perfect if you want to experience abit of the countryside but without going to far from a city/town. Conemarra is so close and so beautiful, the cliffs of Moher and the rest of co.Clare is Fab. just beautiful. Galway town itself has so much to offer. Trad pubs with trad music sessions on somewhere every night of the week. There is a really good tourist office in the city centre, two minutes walk from the train station and the can book you all kinds of tours. You could take a trip to the aran islands too which are breath taking. Where ever you go you will have a wonderfull time and if you dont u need to ask yourself some serious questions!!!!

  6. A Bar

  7. Dublin and the Gunniess Brewery

  8. o'connell steet, in dublin's fantastic!!!!

  9. The west coast is wonderful. Kerry, Clare, Connemara (perfect) and Mayo, Sligo and Donegal....all too beautiful.

Connemara is rather charming because people still speak Gaelic there, so you get a real view of 'old' Ireland. There are some really remote and wild parts of Mayo that I loved.

You will be able to take great walks wherever you go. I know there is rafting and canoeing in areas, and caves to visit here and there. Also, there are seaweed baths in the west (google search) which are REALLY nice. I had one in Strandhill, Sligo last year ;-)

It's worth visiting some islands as well. They're cheap to ferry to. Innisbofin and Aran Isles are great. Innisbofin (means White Cow) is like being in Father Ted's Craggy Island!!

Blarney Castle, near Cork is my favourite castle on earth.

  10. newcastle west(near limerick) or limerick its gorgeous there!

  11. Co Antrim NI, Co Galway & Co Dublin are all nice (the beaches are really lovely).

Going to the pub was my favourite/only activity

  12. Fermanagh lakes

  13. newgrange and the mound built by the druids 5000 years ago

  14. Dublin and Galway, forget about the rest.

  15. It's all lovely, but I particularly liked Connemara in the West and the Antrim coast in the North.

  16. Galway a must..... friendly and cosmopolitan nearby the hills of Connemara <bus trip7hrs  only 17£> cliffs of mohar ...Knock ...............stay on the west coast ..........stay away from overpriced Dublin

  17. I just love Dublin.

  18. Probably one of the cities, if you're not going to be driving a car .... Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny, Waterford and Limerick.

Dublin isn't really that representative of Ireland compared to the other cities, it still has a very 'English' feel to it, and it's far and away the most expensive place to live.

You want the countryside? Think again .... public transport is an issue in many places.

  19. the best place to visit and explore is county kilkenny in the sunny south east, the country side is quiet and picturesque (dont forget the camera),

for retail therapy there is a new shopping centre just opened called mcdonagh junction in the city,

on the high street there is market cross shopping centre and many more shops,

if you are interested in  the historical sector, visit kilkenny caslte on the "parade" its a must see.

some streets are narrow and windy, the people are very friendly.

overall kilkenny is a great place to visit, the sun may not be shining all the time, but the people are warm and welcoming!

hope this message helps, enjoy your stay.

  20. the Ring of Kerry the Blarney Stone and the Waterford Crystal Factory where they make all the beautiful and expensive crystal and St Patricks Cathedral
