  1. You can have parties, most cruise ships are open to whatever people want to do.  Also, Carnival is the most reasonable priced, but the food was bland in my opinion.

  2. Carnival and Royal Caribbean are both "fun ships" and offer the most affordable deals of the major cruise lines.  They have tons of fun activities for all ages.

You can easily have a "party" onboard, but each pair will need to book their own room - they charge per person, not per room, so you can't squeeze six people into one tiny cabin.

When you book, tell the agent that you are part of a group, and ask that everyone be roomed near each other, and definitely request you be seated at the same dinner table.

I just did this - 12 girlfriends, two or three to a room, and our own dinner table.  We had a blast.

  3. I think the best priced (most bang for your buck) and most fun cruise ships are operated by Royal Caribbean. In fact we are going on another cruise in October 2007 leaving from Miami. A party is always welcome on the cruise ship. The Majesty of the Seas by Royal is a ship that attracts the 20s & 30s age group and offers a lot of fun...it is definitely not your luxury cruise ship if that is what you are looking for. I have listed the source where I book all my travel.

  4. I just returned from the Disney Cruise Ship MAGIC in the Mediterranean.

First Time for on a Cruise Ship...First Time to Europe

While I have lived and travelled across the US and Pacific, I was apprehensive about stepping onto a European foreign shore and a cruise ship. I had heard how some cruise ships were poorly maintained, people falling overboard, mass sickness, fires and sinkings...I would never have made this trip but I promised my wife I'd take her to renew our vows on a Mediterranean Cruise on our 25th anniversary.....I kept my promise I made 25 years ago.

Disney made it's inagural transatlantic cruise last month in May and the Disney Cruise Ship MAGIC began it's Mediterranean cruises for the first time stopping off in:

    Barcelona Spain,

    Palermo, Sicily

    Naples/Sorrento/Capri, Italy

    Olbia, Sardinia

    Rome, Italy

    Florence/Pisa, Italy

    Marseille, France

    Manaco, France

    Barcelona, Spain

From day one I was just amazed impressed with the Disney Cruise Welcome staff, housekeeping, Dining, and Entertainment venues including new Movies (latest Pirates movie) and shows (2 per night).

Disney contracted out the shore excursions, and I found them all well run...although IF I ever do this again, I will opt to do several 1/2 day tours (get all the travel and shopping tips) and 1/2 on your own. Disney provided travel and shopping seminars (which are rebroadcast on their internal TV channels 14 and 46).

We met many veteran cruisers (almost 70 percent were on Disney Cruises in the Bahama's (Castaway Club) where they've been based since 1998) and all agreed with my assessment that Disney made this the most enjoyable experience I ever had. Other said Disney was the best as compared to other cruise lines....not just for families with kids, but also for couples, single parents (I met several who left their kids at home).

Many Disney Vacation Club members also told me how they got to take this cruise for FREE (paid only airline fees and EU Taxes). I learned something new about how to plan for future vacations (maybe for my 50th Anniversary).

My only regret was that I now realized I should have done this sooner...but I'll will do it again.

    No matter what, Have Fun.

  5. Carnival and if you live close to their port you wont have to pay for air expenses. Good Luck and have fun.

  6. I would check with the following sites; They gave me the best price, Most of the time they get you a better rate then on there site.

Carnival is Cheapest usually but not that great

Royal is better and I love Celebrity.

  7. A good travel site to search for your cruises is on

"YTB Travel - Amazing Tours and Travel"

    www.amazingtoursandtravel.com

click on the "book travel" link to go to travel site.

  8. i would have to say either royal caribbean or carnival

  9. Carnival has the best prices and if you book early enough you might be able to arrange a table for everyone, I would call the Cruise line direct and see what on of Carnival vacation planner can help you with,

and the cheapest time is between Sept - Dec

  10. Go on a couples cruise if you want to party, not Disney with 982,643 kids.

  11. I recently went on a disney cruise and I had a great time. The food was great and they had parties every night. But it was a little bit pricey.

  12. I would say Freedom of the Seas from Royal Carribean, the price has gone because like 7 months ago tehre was a sickness. It's a big boat. and yeah they usually have all types of parties.

  13. Carnival.  I booked a seven day cruise for under $400 out of Port Canaveral, which is only a two hour drive away.
