I've been swimming for about about 9 years now ever sense i was in high school. I've always loved it and i hate the thought of stopping. But it seems the more i swim the more dry and brittle my hair becomes. So my question for everyone is. What is the best hair product for swimmers that have really dry brittle hair do to all of the chlorine they use in there pools? There has got to be something out there that can help my hair from being so dry and keep it from frizzing so bad. Hopefully something that can be found at a Walmart. Please if anyone can help it would be greatly welcome

  1. I have the same problem but I use Herbal Hesences' Hello Hydration. It really helps and If you wash it right after practice then that also helps. I get it at Walmart. Good Luck!

  2. UltraSwim shampoo and conditioner.  It can be hard to find - usually just a couple of bottles on the very bottom shelf.  I have found it at WalMart and/or Target, as well as at drug stores.

  3. Going to the hair salon and getting your hair stripped is very good.  I have swam year round for 5 years and it has helped tremendously.  Surprisingly, tomato juice gets a lot of the chlorine out of your hair.  Putting conditioner in your hair or getting your hair wet before you enter the water allows your hair to only soak in that instead of the chlorinated water.  There are products yuou can buy at Wal-mart but I am not sure how much they cost!  You can buy it in a spray bottle though...
