  1. take your daughter to a toy store and let her "trade" her pacifier for a new toy.

this is a great way to take it away because she's giving it up rather than you taking it away from her.

    good luck!

  2. How exacly old is she? Samantha my three year old daughter only liked it when she was 0 and 1 year old Pix my son never was interested, offer her a lolly pop instead, tell her its like the pacifier only its hard but it has a good taste

  3. When my daughter was ready to do the "big girl" thing, we both walked to the trash and she threw it away herself.....then bedtime came and whoa! I was so tempted to run to the store and buy another, but keep with it, It takes about 3 days....kids forget, but get yourself prepared.

  4. well first of all if your child is over the age of four and stil on the pacifier then you should consult your pediatrician. If worse comes to worse you can always consider child therapy sessions. This is a very extreme method and I do not recommend it. But if your child is under the age of four than it's probably best to let your child grow bored of it. This can be done by exciting your child with a more appealing toy that has the same effect as the pacifier. It shouldn't be done all at once though. You should gradually wean your child off of the pacifier.

I hope this helps!!!! Let me know how things go!
