  1. First rest, take painkillers and then look for a remedial massage therapist.  Physiotherapy can be helpful so can acupuncture.  I am not so sure about the chiropractor or osteopaths as they are more bone manipulators rather than muscle movers.  A physiotherapist specialising in sports massage may be your first line of enquiry.  You may need to try more than one therapy though to see what suits you.

Once you are out of pain light exercising will help to keep you supple - walking with good posture is good.

  2. muscle relaxants & osteopath

  3. I have been a massage therapist for 11 years and have helped countless people with slipped discs (even after they have tried other treatments...)

Try massage therapy (make sure you research your therapist & they know what they are doing).

If you are stuck on acupuncture or chiropractor, I'd opt for chiro (I go every 3 weeks)!

    Hope you feel better soon!

  4. discs don't actually "slip" they bulge or herniate.

try a chiropractor- many of them are also certified in acupuncture & can perform physical therapy as well.

i'm a chiropractor, i see disc patients all the time
