Whats the best response/thing you've done to telemarketers?

when telemarketers call, what have you done or said back to them to end the call or annoy them more than they annoy you?

I always put myself on the Do Not Call list, so I haven't dealt with them in years.  Back when I did, if it sounded like a female, I would keep her on the line as long as possible while slowly increasing the sexuality of the conversation.  I still remember the time I kept one girl named Kerry on the line for 52 minutes, talking about everything under the sun.  Of course I never bought a d**n thing.

If I have the time, I let them go through their entire spiel, and I ask them as many dumb questions as I can, and them I tell them I'm not really interested and to take me off their call list.

Mrs. Jones?, sure.. let me get her for you...lay the phone down and walk away.

Also on the do not call registry but they manage to get through anyway, and act like they are your long lost buddy "hi Carrie how are you today", now they are using "we notice that you are only paying the minimum balance due on your charge card", (don't even have a charge card)..

Hehe, good question! I used to say this:

Caller: Hello, I am calling from southern gas.

Me: Southern Gas? not northern gas then?

Caller: Southern gas! Can i speak to miss grace please?

Me: No, no, no no, no, talk to me I'm lonely!

Caller: Please, i need to speak to miss grace.

Me: No, talk to me! How are the wife and kids doing?

At that point the caller would hang up. If he was persistent and didn't  hang up, we would just leave the phone on its own while the caller wasted his time talking to no-one!

It's great fun s******g with their heads when they annoy you!
