  1. Do not know about the best but some of my faves include The Bluebell Carvery in Chilwell, The Kurdish Restaurant in Hyson Green and the Poachers on Mansfield Road


  2. Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem pub on Castle Road has been serving the locals since 1189 A.D, making it the oldest inn in the country. Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem claims to be the oldest pub.
