a great road trip would be from Calgary to Vancouver with stops in banff, Lake Louise and some time in the Okanagan Valley (Kelowna/Penticton).

Also from edmonton to jasper then the columbia icefield hwy to banff and on thru to Vancouver is longer but great scenary as well.

In September 2007 some friends and I flew to Whitehorse, Yukon where we rented an RV and took a week to drive down through the BC interior back to Vancouver. Gas was expensive, but it was an awesome trip and well worth it.
