Whats the best safe 10k investment ISA or bonds?

ISA only covers 3.5k I need larger option acc.

  1. An ISA is not an investment. It is a tax-exempt wrapper. You could buy a bond and wrap it in an ISA.


  2. Best or safe Stocks and shares ISA will allow you achieve better returns to buy funds and shares but carries a degree of risk to your money. Bonds are safer but the returns are lower.

  3. Too complex to answer properly here........ Check out the web site below.  You can invest £7,200, each tax year, in an ISA, with stocks & shares. The £3,600 limit you mention is for cash deposit; not at stock market risk.

  4. ISA definately i invested all my money in one of them. the interest just keeps building up

  5. Isa as you will have tax savings.  BUT AS ALWAYS THE STOCKMARKET CAN GO UP AND DOWN!

    Putting 3500 in a mini cash isa is pretty safe
