  1. haha sorry to sink your ship but no iron sets go for $160. if u have some already the u can trade them in at a golf galaxy and get store credit.

  2. This is a very low price ceiling but I believe I have seen the Tommy Armour Silver Scott irons on EBay in this range.  The technology is old,...but this is a very good iron nonetheless.  A very solid, forgiving iron.  If you could go to 250 -300 or so,..a used set of Callaway x-18s would look nice in your bag.  Loads of forgiveness in those babies.

  3. You can't really get great irons for 130-160, but for 200, you can get great Nickent 3-dx combo irons.  They come with 3 and 4 iron hybrids so they're easier to hit for a 20 handicapper.  They have absolutely ridiculous distance and are very forgiving.  They come with a pitching wedge, but not a sand wedge.  You should buy a Cleveland Golf Tour Action (Reg.588)  56 degree forged wedge for that.  They Cost $70.00. Hope this helps.

  4. Maybe check ebay or where ever for a used set of premium clubs. You're really not going to find anything that's worth a c**p for $160, and the clubs you do find will not be much of an upgrade from what you do have, and certainly won't help you play any better. Stick with what you've got until you can save up $600-700 and invest in some quality irons that you can use for the next 10 years.
