Whats the best set up for my 2 subs

whats the best set up for 2 JBL W12GTi MK ll 12" 4000WATT Subwoofer. What do i need to make this work? What amp should i choose for theses subs?

  1. The amp you chose in your last question would have really worked well.

    But, Here goes. Those subs are made to be used in sets of 3. So, get 3 subs. Wire them all in parallel to a 1 ohm final load. Then, use this amp. http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/...


  2. if your only going to run 2, then run them  in series parrell to run at 6ohms, and you can use any 4ohm high power amp. If the amp is 2ohm stable, then you can run at a parrel wiring at 3ohms.

    Just dont run 3ohm on a amp that is not lower than 4ohms stable, as this will result in the amp overheating.  

    You can run a higher  ohm load than the amp, but it will reduce the power and efficently of the amp.
