If you have digital photgraphs then you can simply use your computer to burn them to a CD. They'll be stored as JPEG files, which is the industry standard.

If you have actual paper photographs then try your local branch of Boots. They have all sorts of ways of scanning pictures so that they can be stored on disc.

If you have a very large number of photos then consider buying your own scanner. Many combination scanner/printer devices are available for about £100 or less from PC World and similar. They will come with all the software that you need. It's dead easy to do.
